In this episode host Yuliya Stancheva talks to the award-winning voice actor Della Phillips about her voiceover career and the dramatic and adventurous events in her life which have made her the strong, resilient and inspiring person she is today.
Della takes us on an emotional journey down memory lane, telling us about growing up in Germany and living in Switzerland, working for WHO in Geneva, her life in UK and decision to move to France for good. We discuss Della’s love for sailing, food, travelling and voiceover. As Della reminiscences about the start of her voiceover career, she gives us her best tips for anyone who wants to launch a lasting voiceover career.
Things get pretty deep as Della opens up about the most dramatic event in her life- losing her daughter Kelly, and reveals on her special bond with her other daughter, Abbie.
But don’t expect us to be too serious as Della is super fun and there are loads of laughs along the way.
